VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We truly have a place for everyone!
No matter what your level of horse experience is (if any), we will gladly take any and all help.

We ask our volunteers to fill out a Volunteer Application & Release and to attend a Volunteer Workshop. This helps us to get to know you and to find the best fit for you in our program.

Whether it's help with barn chores, administrative duties, exercising horses, being a side walker or horse leader, we are excited to have you!

Barn/Admin Duties

For those who are not so sure about being around our massive equine friends, there are still plenty of areas that we could use your help. Barn duties (cleaning stalls, maintaining the "looks" of our facility & helping to learn how to care for our 4-legged teachers) and administrative duties (helping with fundraising, filing and other duties) are always needed and appreciated!

Side Walkers &
Horse Leaders

Since we are a growing organization, our Side Walkers & Horse Leaders will be our biggest assets. To be a Side Walker, you do not necessarily have to have horse experience. We will teach you all you need to know. As far as being a Horse Leader, we do prefer you have some horse experience; however, we will teach how we do things and how we want our horses handled...as SAFETY is #1 here at ATS!
