Meet Comet...
Comet joined ATS in the summer of 2017 all the way from Georgia. He is a Spanish Mustang born in 1999. Comet has excelled in our program and is a favorite - especially for the smaller students as he is a pony. Comet fit right in here at ATS and adjusted to his new job well. Although he is not sure about the Ohio winters, he loves getting spoiled and living a life as a therapy horse.

Meet Finn...
Finn joined ATS in March of 2018. He is a Gypsy Vanner. His owner is one of our volunteers and we are so grateful for her sharing him with us. Finn takes everything in stride and speaking of stride - he has a smooth one. His most unique feature is that he has a mustache and a beard, which is a common trait for his breed. Finn has fit right in at ATS since he stepped off the trailer and has quickly become one of our "go-to" therapists! Sponsor Finn |

Moby made his debut in our program in 2017. He is such a steady horse and does his best to give his students the best ride possible. Moby excels at helping his riders become independent! He is always good for a laugh! Moby has some sensory challenges so our students that struggle with their own sensory challenges understand him and he understands them.

Meet Abe...
Abe has been with Autumn Trails since late 2009. He is an Off-the-Track Thoroughbred that we adopted from New Vocations. Abe is registered with the Jockey Club under the name Snappy Dancer; however, he definitely had to have a new name. Cindy decided to name him Abe (after Abe Lincoln) because of his long face and serious personality. His career as a race horse was not suitable for this gentle giant, because he has one speed...SLOW! Abe helped us started our program in 2016. For two years, he took great care of his riders and loved his job. Unfortunately, due to some medical challenges, Abe had to retire in 2018. He enjoys his days in the field with his buddies Red & Jeff and the occasional kisses from his volunteers! We are so grateful to Abe for his service to ATS!

Meet Atlas...
Atlas is a Standardbred. Atlas joined our team in July of 2018. Prior to coming to ATS, Atlas was a race horse (he pulled a cart) and then worked helping Veterans in a program in North Carolina. It did not take him long to fit right into his new home at ATS. Not only did Atlas assist our Therapeutic Riding students, but every Tuesday he went to our Odyssey program to assist our Veterans & First Responders. Unfortunately, we found out that Atlas has a cervical spine compression and had to be retired from riding. So he is living out his best life in lush fields of green grass!
